Ian has lived in Buntingford for nine years and is a Programme Manager running multi-million pound organisational change programmes.  He is a Scout Leader with Buntingford Scout Group, and he coaches mini rugby at Royston Rugby Club.

Ian has two children who were having swimming lessons at Ward Freman until it closed.  Ian is an experienced sailor, windsurfer, and scuba diving instructor.  He understands the importance of swimming ability and water safety, and is determined that the Ward Freman Pool be reopened for the benefit of the community.
