Frazer Willett
Frazer is a retired Police Inspector who has lived in Buntingford for eighteen years and has four children, all of whom learnt to swim at Ward Freman. A life-long swimmer himself, one of his first jobs whilst still at school was as swimming pool lifeguard. He is acutely aware of the importance of being able to swim as a life saving skill, having seen first hand the consequences of not.
As a governor of Edwinstree Middle School in Buntingford, he is fully aware that the financial and time constraints of having to travel to alternative sites has resulted in swimming no longer being available to Edwinstree students. He is keen to ensure that swimming returns to the curriculum, as is required for years 5 and 6 and is committed to enhancing and expanding the pool’s facilities for use by as many sections of the wider community as possible.
