Complete this questionnaire and help us get some serious funding! https://forms.office.com/r/W2VsYdEfgc?embed=true

It’s been just over a year since the pool was closed and almost a year since our charity was formed. That means we will be eligible to apply for lots more grants.
In order to improve our chances of making a successful bid, we need to demonstrate the impact any funding will have.

Asking a grant funding body to give us £120,0001 to fund a new filtration system which would get the pool back open again, does not make much of an impact.
With the results of the questionnaire we would be able to say (for example):
£120,000 funds a new filtration system that gets the pool open and;
allows 200 people to swim a month, enables 300 school children to swim once a week, all who who haven’t been able to do so over the last year. We could provide 350 children learn to swim lessons per week in Buntingford, saving on average 4800miles of car journeys a week and 1.6t of CO2 emissions.2
How is that for an impact!

Obviously these figures are just speculative, but with your help we can get a real picture of the impact the pool’s closure has had on you and how much more of an impact it would make to get the pool back open again.

So please take the time to complete this questionnaire and ask your neighbours and your neighbours neighbours, or the dog walkers, or the parents at the school gate or on the football touchline to complete this questionnaire. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t use the pool before, but if you currently use a different swimming pool or might consider using the Ward Freman pool when it reopens we want your opinions.
