It’s been hard work eating ice creams, homemade cakes and freshly made pizzas whilst listening to some excellent live music at Braughing Wheelbarrow Race, Anstey Fair and Aspenden Village Fete this past month. But someone had to do it and in doing so we have now reached 700 supporters who today received the latest newsletter via email. We also sold pre loved books at these events and raised £391.07. Thank you to all those who donated books and volunteered their time to help at these events.

Details of all the money raised so far and future FUNdraising events can be found in here in August’s newsletter, including how Helen Betley got on with her attempt to be the first person to swim butterfly around the island of Jersey. You will also find details of how much we need to raise and what grants we are applying for to reach our target.

A big thank you to everyone who has contributed and left us feedback on the design proposals. Your opinions are always welcome and will shape the final design. Please see the proposed plan webpage if you haven’t already. www.wardfremanpool.org/proposed-plans/
